- Open Safari,
- Then choose Safari.
- Click Reset Safari
- In the reset window that opens you:
- Check the box Empty the cache.
- Check the box Delete Cookies.
- Click "Reset" button, at bottom right.
- Restart the browser.
Note: In newer versions for Safari (V5.1.x), these two options have been replaced by a single box.
- By checking this box it erases both the cache and cookies.
Safari for iOS, iPhone and iPad
- Click on Settings from the home page.
- Scroll down until you see "Safari." Click on it to bring up the option page.
- Click "Clear Cookies and Data."A pop-up box will appear. Click "Clear Cookies and Data" again to confirm your choice.
