Prerequisites for Ubuntu Gnome

  • Installed via the package manager openvpn network-manager-gnome (network management framework (OpenVPN plugin GNOME UI))

Quick Setup

  • Click on icon Network Manager Gnome and select VPN Connections and then Configure VPN
  1. Click on network icon at the top right.
  2. Click on "Wired settings" or "Wifi settings" depending of your configuration.
  3. A window opens, select "Network" in the left column.
  4. To the right of VPN click on "+"
  5. Then select "Import from ..." c
  6. Click "Add" button at top right.
  7. Then activate the VPN.
  8. Click again on the Network Manager icon, VPN then VPN Connect
