VPN services

To modify your IP address when you are on internet set up a VPN service has no use.
You need to use a web proxy

First, you need to install "network-manager-openvpn-gnome" package

The connection informations are available in your manager in additional services then VPN service.

1. Click on icon "Network Manager Gnome" and select "VPN Connections" .
2. Click Add and then select OpenVPN

1. In gateway: Add your server name listed in your manager without any http or ftp. Eg : front123.sdbx.co or pool456.seedbox.fr
2. In type: Enter your password. (The one chosen on your order form)
3. Username Enter your login. (The one chosen on your order form)
4. In CA certificate: Enter the path to the certificate downloaded on your computer from the manager
5. Then click on Advanced and then check "Use data compression LZO"
6. Validate configuration and close the window.
7. Click again on the Network icon in Network Manager, then VPN and VPN Connection

FTP Services

Follow this link to download Filezilla latest version :

Follow the installation instructions and run the application.

After installing the software, configure FileZilla to connect with your Server.

To configure Filezilla connection :

Start FileZilla and access the site manager

Click on New Site

Then fill out the required fields, taking care to respect the case sensitive password.

1. In host : Enter your servername WITHOUT any http or ftp.
   1. Ex : front123.sdbx.co or pool456.seedbox.fr
      1. in Port : Let the box blank or enter port 21.
2. Server type MUST be FTP
3. Logon type MUST be account
4. User is your LOGIN (The one chosen on your order form)
5. Password is your password (The one chosen on your order form)
6. Account, choose a name that suits for your connection

1. Finally, click ok to save your account and then connect to your service .

Set up a Proxy service

To set up your proxy service with Filezilla, from software taskbar,

1. Go to Edit,
2. Then Settings,
3. Click on Generic Proxy

1. Choose HTTP/1.1 using CONNECT method

1. Enter your servername without any http or ftp.
2. Enter the proxy port chosen. (4 Ips are available)
3. Enter your Login. (The one chosen on your order form)
4. Enter your Password.(The one chosen on your order form
