Public traker or UDP
With your service, you can use public tracker.
To use it, you need to activate DHT & PEX option.
What mean "DHT and PEX"?
- This option will allow you to exchange data with peers without service be connected to a one tracker.
- The result is that the service is more secure and the transfers are faster with public tracker.
- However, it is strongly recommended to not enable this option if you use a private tracker (which count ratio).
- Indeed, in this case, it may happen that some ratio will be lost because data will not be sent to the tracker.
By default, DHT and PEX are disabled .
If you do not know if you have it enabled or not:
- Go to your manager, then click on " Advanced configuration"
- Click "ON", DHT is activated.
- If you don't remind if it's alraedy activated :
- Go to your transfer interface, click on "the coghwell" icon from taskbar.
- Click on the "Network" tab
- Finally, check that DHT and PEX are activated or not ,depending on your need.
- Change must be saved in folder dictionnary
