Configure the PPTP VPN connection for Mac OSX

From MacOSX 10.12 SIERRA update, you can't no more use PPTP VPN.
VPN service is not designed to change your Ip address.

Configure a PPTP VPN connection for Mac OSX
NOTE: These settings are the same for Mac OSX 10.5 (Leopard)
- 1. First go into system preferences then Network.
- 2. In the window listing your connections, Click the + button.
- 3. In the new windows set the following Interface to VPN, VPN Type to PPTP and Service Name to the name you want.
Then, click the button Create.
- 4. Leave Configuration set to Default, enter your servername without any FTP or HTTP'.
This address is available in the welcome email that you have received and can be find in your manager, in Additionals service.
- 5. For the account name enter your Username.
- 6. For the account password enter your password.
(Please use the credentials that you have entered on the order form.)
- 7. Tick, Show VPN status in menu if it's not already done and click Apply.
- 8. Click Advanced button.
- 9. Under options, tick the box Send all traffic over VPN connection button, click ok.
- 10. Click Apply and close system preferences.
- 11. Finished! Your VPN connection will now be available in the menu bar, click Connect to use it.
