Change client torrent

How to change P2P client

• You have the choice of three clients.
• Transmission, enabled by default.
• Rutorrent and Deluge, which are to activate according to your preferences.

• You can not use these 3 clients simultaneously.

• If you need to change the torrent client for P2P service:

1. Go to your Seedbox manager.
2. Go to the "Avancé" thumbnail.
3. Make your choice via the selector,
4. Click "send" button to validate the change.
   1. This change takes a few minutes to become effective.
   2. If you do not see a change, after a few minutes, click on "F5".

Information

• We invite you to act with caution when changing client.
• Please, do not multiply client changes in a too short time.

Rutorrent client

1. After choosing Rutorrent client from Advanced configuration thumbnail,
2. Then, validate your choice by clicking on "Switch"
3. Rutorrent client is now display instead of Transmission-remote

Rutorrent interface

• To change default language, click on Seetings (cogwhell icon).
• In general seetings, you will find this option.

Add a .torrent file into the interface

• Click on the globe icon, the first at taskbar top left.
  
• Then,

1. Please be very carreful if you change Directory.
   1. It always MUST start with : /data/LOGIN/new_directory
2. If this is a .torrent file, click here.
   1. Choose the.torrent file, and then click add.
3. If it's via an URL (a Magnet link file for exemple), insert it here.
4. Once done, click on "Add", the files start automatically.

Creating a .torrent file online

1. Click on the yellow star from the task bar.
2. Torrent creation window opens.

• Then,

1. Select the source.
2. Indicate the tracker announce.
3. Choose complementary options,
   1. If you send data to a private tracker, it is necessary to tick the box "Private Tracker".
4. Click create to retrieve the .torrent file.
