What is a web proxy ?
- A Webproxy is a server that mediates between a computer and the Internet.
- You will first connect to the proxy server, then it is this server that will take over the Internet.
- Your IP address will not be known by the sites you visit.
Configure Proxy service for Chrome
You must access browser advanced settings by clicking on the icon to the right of the navigation bar.
- Note: Pictures may differ from your webbroswer version.
- Click "Settings" tab, then "change advanced settings".
- In Network tab, click "Change proxy settings".
- Fill the form with the requested information.
- Choose "Manual proxy configuration".
- Your server name without ftp http,
- Example : front123.sdbx.co or pool456.seedbox.fr
- Tehn, enter proxy port you want to use. Proxy port differs depending on chosen location,
- All these informations are available in your Seedbox manager in Proxy thumbnail
- Click OK, you're now using a proxy service for your broswer.
